Navigating the non-profit world as a young professional isn’t easy. You graduate from college eager and ready to take on the world, but soon realize that you spent way too much time, money, & energy in school to be stuck in a job that where you are over worked, undervalued, and unfulfilled. Before you know it, years have gone by and you look back at your career and wonder what happened to all the aspirations you had of becoming successful and making a real impact or difference.
Just like you, I spent most of my adult years wandering through life hoping eventually I’d meander onto the right path. I took jobs with organizations that had lofty mission statements, but they never felt quite right. Like many of you, I made my decisions based on what I thought I should do, rather than what I really wanted to do. As a result, I constantly felt angry, defeated, and physically exhausted. In fact, my personal theme song use to be a spoof on the Britney Spears tune “I’m a Slave 4U” except I changed the words to “I’m a Slave to my Cube”!
It was only until I stopped to take a good hard look at who I was, and who I wanted to be, that I finally started feeling like I was in control of my life. I know what it’s like to dread going to work every day, which is why I now focus my energy on helping others cut through the uncertainty, self-doubt, and fear of change that holds us all back. I help my clients make decisions that get them what they want, without compromising a thing!
Don’t be fooled…working with me is hard work! I’ll ask you the tough questions that make you take a good hard look in the mirror. I will never give you advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I will challenge and support you as you decide what course of action is best. I will be there to celebrate your accomplishments, understand your frustrations, help you discover what it is that you truly want, and hold you responsible and accountable for achieving your dreams!
It’s time to stop being your own worst enemy and biggest critic. Instead, let’s create a clear vision of what it is you want out of life and get you back in the driver’s seat!

On a personal note
I was born and raised in New Jersey, but currently live in the Washington, DC Metro area with my husband Chris and our fur-baby, Baxter. Even though we’ve lived here for several years we still are amazed at all there is to do and spend our weekends exploring the surrounding areas. We are big foodies, so one of our favorite things to do is find new restaurants to try. I also enjoy practicing yoga, taking Baxter for long walks on many of Northern Virginia’s gorgeous trails (Great Falls Park is his fav!), binge watching Castle and Law & Order SVU, and redecorating my house via Pinterest.
